This question seems simple enough, that when I get asked “How do I start making content?” I have to try to not to give a ridiculously simple answer. In reality, there’s a lot of ways to answer that question but before I just say “Just make content.” here are a few questions that have made it a whole lot easier for me.
What would be your goal when starting to make content?
What are you passionate about?
If you had 100k subscribers or followers today, what would your audience expect? Volume, Quality, Consistency, etc?
Keep those questions in mind, I will be referencing them often as I share what i’ve learned from studying analytics and applying feedback over time. My goal with this newsletter is simple: help you find the balance between reaching your content goals and genuinely enjoying what you create. Whether that means growth, monetization, or both.
